Today I got to preach with somebody pretty interesting. You see, Jehovah's Witnesses have this thing called the visit of the Circuit Overseer. He and his wife visit the congregations that are assigned to his circuit. My Circuit Overseer is currently Wendell King and we have the privilege of having him visit our congregation for this week. He visits us about every 6 months, so twice a year. Well this morning I got to preach with Brother King. It was great being able to converse and learn about the work he does. He helped me out a lot with a few problems I'm currently going through and gave me some very good advice. It's really enlightening to talk to someone that knows so much and has so many experiences. One of the things I love most is getting to know people and the different viewpoints and opinions about things. I got to be in charge of the group too so its a great privilege to lead the Brothers and Sisters in the territory.
Last Tuesday during one of his talks he brought up a very interesting point. He said that Alexander The Great was trying to conquer the world to make all the world speak Greek. God then used this to his advantage, seeing as Greek was such an expressive language (i.e. There are four different ways to say "Love" in Greek and they each mean a different thing) he used it in the last books and letters of the bible (Matthew-Revelation). Also the Romans built various roads that are still present to this day. Those are some pretty old roads! Well he used this too. Combining the Greek language and the Roman roads the early Christians were capable of doing something very good. Preach! I thought that was very interesting, something I never noticed.
After giving me a few pointers on how I should work on my progress we went to have lunch at a Sister's house along with some other Brothers and Sisters. All I can say is WOW. There was so much good food. Mashed Potatoes, Rice with Shrimp, Avocado, Green Beans, a bunch of fruit (though I don't like fruit much, everyone enjoyed it though) and then a nice warm piece of Apple Pie with a small scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. The Sisters outdid themselves. I'm glad I was invited.
So we now have a few more days with him. Friday and Saturday he has two more talks I can't wait for. I have to thank Jehovah for the opportunity he has given my congregation to spend time with such a wise couple and for the opportunity I had this morning to preach with him.

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do
I went to my friend’s house today. Maidel, Humberto (Bert), Brigitte, and I played Singstar. If you don’t know what Singstar then I feel bad for you. It’s only one of the most fun party games in the world. Basically it’s a two-player karaoke game for the PlayStation 2. So far there are only two versions of it in
I got to finish the first season of The X-Files. I must say that I am really obsessed with that show ever since Maidel forced me to watch it that one time. Now I got me season two. Again, Maidel lent it to me. I’ve already seen some of the first episodes of that season on TV so I should get through the season pretty quickly.
Speaking of TV and seasons, Heroes season one is coming out soon. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to buy it when it comes out. But none the less I trust Maidel or Jessi will buy it and I can watch it that way. I’d have to say that THAT is another show that I am absolutely obsessed with. The second season comes out within a month of the season one DVD release. So be prepared to hear a lot about it soon.
That’s it for today. The Colbert Report is about to start. Bye everyone

Stuck to the Screen
Well, I spent the better part of my day watching The X-Files. See, my good friend Maidel absolutely loves The X-Files and owns the better part of the series. So she is watching it all and is in season 5. She somehow got me into it and so now I try to watch it with her. Its fun, I like the show. So she is lending me the first seasons so I can catch up to where she is. Today I saw about 5-6 episodes. I’d have to count but the DVD boxes are in another room. They were really good, I particularly liked E.B.E. It showed “The Lone Gunmen for the first time and left everyone in a lot of shock…. or at least me.
I got to see the pilot episode for David Duchovny’s new show Californication. I must say that it is a hilarious TV show with a lot of drama. I just can’t put it into words; I can only suggest you watch it.
Speaking of TV I have to mention a movie I saw last monday. "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." OMG, that movie was toooooooooo funny. I was laughing so much. I really do recommend it. I'd even go see it again. It's a must buy when it comes out on DVD.
I’ve also been playing an old game I put a way long ago, Sonic Adventure 2:
What else happened today? Nothing much really, my little cousin’s came over so now there are two little kids running around all the time. Aside from that I really had a w/e day.

Hello Everyone
Well, it’s my first time blogging here. Thought I’d start off with a bit of an introduction on who I am and what I like.
My name is Yoandy though when I am online I go by the alias Ark Heat. Long story behind that name, it was derived from some Anime I watch “Ark” was basically a bad translation in the Anime Hellsing where someone called the main character “Arkard” instead of Alucard which is supposed to be Dracula backwards. After using Arkard as an alias in an online video game, people called me
Basically I’m a very down to earth person who likes to hang around with friends and just make jokes. To me, the best times aren’t necessarily spent at expensive places but instead with a bunch of close friends at someone’s house playing games and eating junk. Get seven people in a sedan with “Walking on Sunshine” blasting down the freeway and I guarantee its more fun than anything else.
I like playing games, any games. I love video games, art, and music. I tend to appreciate art in many forms whether its actual drawings, music, liquor, sculptures, etc. Basically anything that takes a creative sense to make.
Speaking of liquor Samuel Adams is my choice beer. Not only is it tasty but they are a company that really loves what they make. Up until now they have 18 or so different flavors of beer, from the Sam Adams Boston Lager which is their main beer to the world famous Sam Adams Octoberfest.
As for TV, I like watching Anime, Comedy, and anything that makes you sit on the edge of your seat. Some notable TV shows I like are Heroes, Scrubs, The X-Files, Family Guy, Futurama, and a bunch more that would fill the page.
As for religious terms, I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. I love it, from the moment you step into the organization you notice it’s like a different world of people. The friends I have made are dear to me. I love each and every one of the as if they were my very blood. I just have to say a quick hello to em and a big thanks for being my friends.
Well I guess that’s pretty much it for me. I mean, if you wanna know more I guess you’d just have to ask me about things. I’ll mention more things as time goes by and through this blog everyone will get to know me better. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope you have fun reading in the future
